Our Story

Éclair Cozy Corner is located in Los Angeles, California and it is a café that specializes in serving Japanese style Italian cuisine. Eclair Cozy Corner draws inspiration from the owner of Eclair, Matsumoto's nostalgic childhood memories. Eclair was his first sweet dessert and he still remembers the first bite of eclair. Since that, he always wanted to open a pastry shop that has the best eclairs. What was originally intended to just be a pastry shop but quickly evolved into an Italian restaurant that Japanese blending of flavors through our chefs' personal touches. With pastas that feature such ingredients as sea urchin and cod roe, and our signature eclairs to cap it off, how could you possibly go wrong? Experienced for more than 15 years at one of the prestigious Japanese restaurants in Aoyama, Japan. KIHACHI French and KIHACHI Italian in Japan. He moved to California in 2002 and became an owner chef of an Italian restaurant, PIA, Redondo Beach, California.

Graduated from Osaka school of culinary art and culinary institute of the pacific , Hawaii. Experienced at several restaurants in Japan and Hawaii, including five star restaurants.
